TRAINING
Many security companies rely on the basic 8 and 16 hour state mandated courses as the training for their employees. But at Socaobiz we think training is the cornerstone of consistency. We provide our own 20 hour training program as well as do ongoing in the field training. Reinforcing the proper protocols helps provide a uniform and reliable team.
POST ORDERS
The company provides detailed post orders for each assignment so that the security guard has a step by step plan to consistently provide service in a manner that we have specified. Each site has a unique set of instruction and is constantly updated with current contact information as well as providing any special event instructions as needed. Every set of post orders includes basics like sign-in procedures, pre-shift checklist, written inspection requirements, coverage area and specific site instructions, and incident reporting instructions.
SITE INSPECTIONS
Every member of the upper management gets involved in site inspections. The company believes that having more than one person checking up on each site is valuable way to ensure quality. Daily inspections are completed by the security guards themselves. In some accounts, there are lead security guards imposing company standards on the assignment. The Operations Manager make frequent visits, (if not daily), to the site for inspections and for client meeting and interactions. Other members of the upper management will make periodic inspections to identify improvements and share observations with the operations team.
RECORD KEEPING
Every site has a log book that the security guards record there activity, inspection results and observations. These records are inspected by the Operations Manager and Lead Security Guard (if assigned). In addition to written records, the company uses electronic sign-in and inspection records to confirm coverage and to escalate any issues on the site.
